Located at 655 De Haro Street in San Francisco, Sunnydale High School is a high school for students with superpowers. Situated comfortably in Potrero Hill, school hours run from 8:00AM to 3:10PM. The Sunnydale Razorbacks are their sports teams and their mascot is a yellow wild boar. Spring sports include baseball, lacrosse, hockey, softball, swimming & diving, tennis, track & field, and volleyball.

Starcourt Mall is located at 135 4th Street. The mall features a movie theater, food court, and several stores including Nordstrom, Bloomingdale's, Abercrombie & Fitch, Express, GAP, Hollister, Sunglass Hut, Build-A-Bear Workshop, Intermix, PacSun, Journeys, Lucky, Claire's, The Sharper Image, Spencer's, The Disney Store, Hot Topic, Lush, and others. Starcourt is also home to a variety of restaurants such as Scoops Ahoy, Wetzel's Pretzels, Boba Pub, Brio Tuscan Grille, P.F. Chang's, California Pizza Kitchen, and The Cheesecake Factory.

Located near Sunnydale High, local diner The Max is a popular student hangout run by a magician named Max. The Sunnydale Razorbacks celebrate at The Max before and after games.

Bewitched is a mixed nightclub located in the Tenderloin. The club's owner has questionable ethics and often employs underage servers, paying them under the table. It isn't uncommon to find underage patrons here, either.

Scoops Ahoy is an ice cream parlor located in the food court of Starcourt Mall.

This record shop has been a San Francisco mainstay for decades. Chubby, the owner, once operated his own independent record label and several artists used the recording studio in the basement for their music before becoming famous.

Taco Whiz is a chain of fast food restaurants that sells tacos and burritos. Taco Whiz has quite the competition against local area taquerias, but remains popular nonetheless.

Tony's Pizza is a family-owned pizzeria that is also popular amongst Sunnydale students despite the owner, Mrs. Popowski's, very sarcastic attitude towards them.

Jitters is a locally-owned chain of coffee shops all over the Bay Area. It's not uncommon to see students of all ages cooped up at their neighborhood Jitters, meeting up with friends or trying to get some work done.

Sweet Justice is a dessert shop that serves ice cream, cupcakes, cookies, and other baked goods. They famously employ Sunnydale students as they know that they can use their powers for fast service and speedy deliveries.
